EVOLVE (ETX-30) touch monitor

To download & install the latest firmware on your screen go to:
Settings > Device > System Updates > Online Updates
and download and install when available

Patch notes

New:

  • E-Share App is now visible as a Tile in the "All Apps menu".
  • Swiping right to get to the "All Apps" section will bring up a pin-code security request when swiping, if its canceled or wrong then the screen will go back to the main menu. This will only be enabled when the secure mode is on.
  • Security upd ate option, "lock screen when on sleep mode" if this option is se t to ON then the screen will lock itself and request a security PIN when returning fr om sleep mode.
  • The Audio only option that we had on ETX 20 is now included on the quick menu functionalities on EVOLVE as well.
  • We have changed the scissor "screenshot" icon to camera for the screenshot tool available on the annotation tool.
  • We have changed our current Browser to Firefox.
  • Direct access or shortcuts for inputs created on the main menu of the screen can now be customized for a more intuitive user experience.
  • First phase of firmware translations is now available in the following languages: Azeri, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Finish, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Romanian, Swedish.
  • User Selection page on startup.
  • Multiple NFC Card can now be paired (and unpaired) with the same user profile.
  • Guest Profile with limited tools for non-registered users will be available by default.
  • Sign out button for user switching and session closing.
  • When signing out form the current user all Apps will be closed, a prompt will ask for confirmation before signing out.Fixed: We have removed confusing lines from the Annotation tool UI.

Fixed:

  • When Airserver was locked with a PIN and the app was set to run on start-up a PIN prompt would be displayed before the screen unlock PIN could be entered, this has now been corrected and the PIN prompt will not be there on first start up.
  • When using both thick and thin tips on the annotation tool at the same time with different colors the standard color after release would be always changed to the "thin selection", this is now fixed and working as expected.
  • The proximity sensor options wh ere available only over the service menu but are now available on the "Power" section of the settings menu.
  • Radix Viso MDM is now fully compatible with the screen remote control.
  • Whiteboard App is now compatible with split screen mode.
  • Core language translations check. (FR, DE, EN, NL, ES).
  • CEC compatibility review and added support.
  • NFC cards will now be properly paired with an existing profile.
  • Switching users will now prompt for a PIN code input.

  • The Whiteboard App pen recognition configuration will not affect the main annotation tool behavior.

  • Whiteboard App, now pens/markers can be configured correctly for a specific pen/market tip size.
  • Resolved logging issues for OneDrive & Dropbox on File Manager App only on personal accounts.
  • Removed the default Camera App, this has been replaced with the new visualizer App integrated on FW 1005

Fixed:

  • All ADB connections are now refused by the screen's internal Android to upkeep our network security standards.
  • OK button on remote control does freeze the screen's image.
  • AirServer App now has a new BT discovery system for iOS and an added QR code for easy discovery
