We are looking for a HR Business Partner (0.8 FTE)


What do we offer?

In this position you will work from Lochem, and you will be responsible for locations in the Netherlands (Lochem, 101 employees) and Belgium (Mechelen, 8 employees)). You are responsible for developing and implementing HR policies for these locations. You are part of the Management Team and report to the Managing Director in Lochem. Functionally, you'll report to the HR Director at the edding group's headquarters in Germany (Ahrensburg). 


What do we expect?

- You incorporate the company strategy into relevant HR objectives, policies, tools and systems.

- As a sparring partner of the management team, you will contribute to the initiation and establishment of local strategic objectives, specifically related to the development of the organization and the improvement of organizational results. 

- You implement the HR strategy in coordination and cooperation with the management.

- You advise and support management proactively in the implementation of various HR themes (recruitment & selection, performance & assessment, wages, health & safety, education & training, dismissals, etc.).- You perform operational support tasks for management and employees.

- You coordinate and implement HR projects (job structure, assessment and remuneration, employee satisfaction surveys).

- You work with an HR management system, proactively and when needed.

- You supervise the HR and payroll employee (0.6 FTE).


What do we ask?

- HBO / WO education towards Human Resources and/or Business Administration.

- 5 years' experience in the role of HR Business Partner or HR Manager

- Experience with self-managing teams and/or Agile, Lean would be a plus

- Knowledge of and/or experience with Dutch HR legislation and regulations is essential.

- Comfortable in both the Dutch and English language (German is an advantage)

- Knowledge of and/or experience with Belgian legislation and regulations is a plus.

- Good communicative and advisory skills

- Pro-active, signaling and innovative

- Hands on mentality

- Experience with working in an international environment is a plus
